My awesome sister needed some more professional headshots to include in her applications for Physician Assistant programs, so we pulled out the tripod and I snapped a few. In addition to being extremely smart, she keeps a great weblog and writes some wonderful poetry.
Upon initial setup, the sun was casting a harsh light on one side of her face, so we had to get creative. I ended up setting the camera and the chair up in a way to diffuse the sun through some leaves, which worked out rather well.
This was all a bit too serious, so we made sure to laugh a little bit too.
